PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE / MENSAJE DEL DIRECTOR
Dear Simpson Elementary Families,
It is a true honor to introduce myself as the new principal of Simpson Elementary School and to join this extraordinary community. I hope this message finds you enjoying a rejuvenating winter break, and that you and your children are looking forward to returning to school January 13, 2026. I share this community’s unwavering commitment to caring for our students while providing a high-quality, nurturing learning environment.
The 2025/26 school year marks my 17th year in education. My journey has included a decade in the classroom and seven years as a school and district administrator at both the primary and secondary levels. For the past year and a half, I have had the pleasure of serving as an Assistant Principal at Kolb Middle School where we focused on student achievement and success. While I have always felt at home in the classroom, I have found my life’s work most fulfilling as an administrator—supporting students, teachers, and the wider community. This principalship opportunity at Simpson Elementary offers a wonderful opportunity to collaborate daily with our talented staff while remaining deeply connected to our young students’ growth. I firmly believe that education has the power to transform our student’s lives. To continue Simpson’s tradition of excellence, I am committed to supporting our faculty and staff, exploring innovative ways to meet the needs of every student and maintaining transparent, effective communication with our families. I am thrilled to work in partnership with you to ensure our students receive a meaningful and challenging educational experience. Es un verdadero honor presentarme como el nuevo director de la Escuela Primaria Simpson y unirme a esta extraordinaria comunidad. Espero que este mensaje les encuentre disfrutando de un reparador receso de invierno y que ustedes y sus hijos estén entusiasmados por regresar a la escuela el 13 de enero de 2026. Comparto el firme compromiso de esta comunidad de cuidar a nuestros estudiantes mientras ofrecemos un entorno de aprendizaje de alta calidad y enriquecedor.
El año escolar 2025–2026 marca mi 17.º año en la educación. Mi trayectoria incluye una década en el aula y siete años como administrador escolar y de distrito, tanto a nivel primario como secundario. Durante el último año y medio, he tenido el placer de desempeñarme como Subdirector en la Escuela Intermedia Kolb, donde nos enfocamos en el logro académico y el éxito estudiantil. Si bien siempre me he sentido en casa en el aula, he encontrado que el trabajo de mi vida es más gratificante como administrador, apoyando a los estudiantes, a los docentes y a la comunidad en general.
Esta oportunidad de liderazgo en la Escuela Primaria Simpson me brinda una maravillosa ocasión para colaborar diariamente con nuestro talentoso personal y, al mismo tiempo, mantenerme profundamente conectado con el crecimiento de nuestros estudiantes más jóvenes. Creo firmemente que la educación tiene el poder de transformar la vida de nuestros estudiantes. Para continuar con la tradición de excelencia de Simpson, me comprometo a apoyar a nuestro personal docente y administrativo, a explorar maneras innovadoras de satisfacer las necesidades de cada estudiante y a mantener una comunicación transparente y eficaz con nuestras familias. Me entusiasma trabajar en colaboración con ustedes para garantizar que nuestros estudiantes reciban una experiencia educativa significativa y desafiante. Aprecio sinceramente sus conversaciones y comentarios positivos durante el resto del año escolar.
